How We Worship
Each church has its own style of worship and we think you'll enjoy our services at Christ Alone. We combine
words, music, and prayer in praise to the Lord. Our worship services focus on readings from God's Word - the
Bible. We combine ancient worship formats, or liturgies, with modern words and both traditional and modern
music. This style of worship harmonizes the traditional and the modern to highlight the best of each. We truly
hope you will enjoy both as we worship our gracious Lord together!
Here are a few more things you should know.
- Services are at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. every Sunday morning.
- Christ Alone is a family church. Children are encouraged to attend worship services with their families. Don't worry about crying babies or spilled cheerios - we love children in worship!
- The joy of knowing that Jesus loves and forgives sinners like us sets the tone for each worship service.
- The hymns and songs we choose are geared toward group singing so we can all praise our Lord together. You can sing along to your own comfort level.
- About halfway through the service, the pastor will invite kids up to the front for a children's message.
- Every week there are several sections of the Bible that are read which fit that Sunday's theme. Pastor's sermon will be based on one of those sections.
- While everyone is welcome to worship with us, only members are invited to take part in Holy Communion. When you're ready to make Christ Alone your church home, you'll be welcome to join in Communion too!
- There will be an offering box near the door and links to online donation. You are under no obligation to give.
- If you're new to Christ Alone, we want to help you feel welcomed. You can Plan A Visit so we know to save you a seat!
